Cosmetic Chemistry
At the Faculty of Chemistry of Warsaw University of Technology there are conducted postgraduate studies in the field of Cosmetic Chemistry. The studies are intended for graduates of chemical faculties of universities and universities of technology as well as pharmaceutical faculties of medical academies.
Syllabus
The syllabus of these postgraduate studies covers the most important fields related to modern cosmetics, i.e. principles of dermatology and cosmetic physiology, chemistry of basic starting materials and active substances, physico-chemistry of cosmetic species, principles of cosmetics manufacture and cosmetic materials science, cosmetic microbiology, as well as methods of analysis and standardization of starting materials.
The studies last two years. The aim of the course is to prepare graduates to work in the cosmetic industry, both in the research and production field. For people working in this field it permits to update the knowledge acquired and get acquainted with the newest achievements of the worlds cosmetology.
